Overview of Course: This class will cover the different types of specifications, their most common usage and the formation of a contract. The class will review the Alaska statutes, regulations and admin. manual instructions which pertain to specifications and contract development; some "shoulds" and "some should nots" for specification writing; and the language to use when writing specifications. The class will also discuss the different types of contracts and their uses, contract terms and conditions, the UCC, contract amendments, contract controversy and mistakes in contracts.
